About The Role
As a Customer Research Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping Unitywater understand and respond to the needs and perceptions of our customers and stakeholders. You will design, manage, and deliver a variety of qualitative and quantitative research programs, including ongoing customer satisfaction and voice of the customer initiatives.
Your expertise in data analysis and interpretation will enable the business to uncover meaningful insights and trends that drive strategic and operational decision-making. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure research activities are executed effectively, while maintaining high standards of data integrity and reporting.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence business planning by providing actionable insights and contributing to continuous improvement in how Unitywater engages with its community.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Maroochydore head office.

You’ll bring:
- 2-4 years’ experience supporting, managing and delivering market and social research programs, including qualitative and quantitative methods
- Strong ability to analyse complex data and information to identify trends and insights, and data visualisation skills to prepare reports and presentation packs
- Proficient in statistical and survey methodology, with advanced skills in Excel and statistical software such as SPSS
- Experience or exposure to digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and/or advanced analytics platforms (SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau) is desirable
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to align research priorities to business objectives
- Well-developed project management, time management, and organisational skills
- Adaptable, committed, and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to contributing value to the team and organisation
- Holds a relevant tertiary qualification in social sciences, market research, or a related field
