About the role:
As the Analyst – Corporate Finance, you will support the Corporate Finance team in management accounting and financial modelling activities ensuring alignment to Water Corporation objectives.

What you can expect with this role
- Support Water Corporation’s high-level budgeting and forecasting processes in alignment with Budget and Mid-Year Review updates to the State Government.
- Adopt a strategic partnering approach and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Corporation on revenue and expenditure forecasting, and key projects.
- Conduct financial modelling using the Corporation’s main financial models.
- Update the WA Government’s Strategic Information Management System which is used for whole-of-government financial information collection and reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders, both internal and external (e.g. Department of Treasury and Finance, Infrastructure Western Australia and other Government departments), to share knowledge, analyse issues and produce high quality communications that are fit-for-purpose.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- You have experience within finance and accounting in a large operational environment with a focus on management accounting and financial modelling using MS Excel.
- You have a degree qualification in finance, commerce or another relevant discipline.
- You have an eye for detail and work well in a team to successfully deliver on team commitments.
- You are comfortable engaging with various stakeholders for day-to-day operations. The Corporate Finance team fosters a culture of collaboration across the Water Corporation and with our Government counterparts.
