About the role
We have permanent opportunity for a Senior Principal Strategic Programs joining our Future Water Solutions Business Unit. You will part of an experienced and dynamic lead team responsible for strategic projects and programs across Water Corporation working with senior internal & external stakeholders.The role will be based in our Leederville office reporting to the Head of Future Water Solutions.
What the role will involve
- Be part of the team who strive to navigate through risks and opportunities to provide future water services sustainably for the Water Corporation
- Lead, manage and deliver complex executive and strategic programs and projects to enable the business to proactively respond to emerging risks and opportunities
- Lead the Corporation’s next statewide long term planning program including program management direction and stakeholder engagement
- Establish expert reference panel to steer the long term planning program and provide executive support
- Develop and implement relevant process to connect all levels of infrastructure and service planning and transition strategic concept to operational framework
- Be an active Future Water Solutions lead team member to add value to business priorities via knowledge share, collaboration and mentor/coaching
About you
You’ll have a degree level qualification in engineering, science or relevant discipline, along with substantial experience planning, design, delivery or operate water and wastewater infrastructure assets. You’ll have substantial knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced by the water industry through climate change, resource recovery & reuse as well as community expectation.
You’ll have experience in analysing existing and proposed infrastructure systems to evaluate engineering and economic effectiveness. Your demonstrated leadership, and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
