The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Value Market Access, as the Manager, Government Sales & Institutional Access, you will lead and manage the end‑to‑end sales process for public institutions in Mexico while ensuring access for CSL’s portfolio within the public healthcare sector institutions. You will be responsible for forecasting, contract management,replenishment orders, invoicing, and collections, as well as for building strategic relationships with decision‑makers and institutional teams. You will ensure the achievement of the company’s commercial and access objectives while also serving as a role model for the organization.
This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid
The Role:
- Lead the commercial strategy and execution for government sales end-to-end for assigned accounts: from forecasting to tendering support, contract management, replenishment, invoicing and timely collections. The GS&IA manger must also develop, analyze and update the institution’s clinical and non-clinical stakeholder and resources map, anticipate commercial needs and opportunities, master calendars, funding and documentation flows within the institution and serve as the key link between CSL Behring and the account.
- Identify, profile, engage with and develop a strategic relationship with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including procurement, contracting, legal and warehousing teams at the institutional level to identify unmet needs, tailor a solution, untap new business opportunities for all parties involved.
- Co-lead and execute the shaping the external environment strategy: provide strategic insights to senior leaders for decision making related to normativity, budgets and public policy, actively participate in chambers and associations, engage with key decision makers to influence the public healthcare ecosystem, shape institutional access pathways.
- Provide realistic, truthful and accurate estimations of sales forecast, product displacement, invoicing and other administrative milestones.
- Lead periodic strategic account plans (definition, execution, follow-up, facilitation) for assigned accounts to maximize value.
- Lead and execute the institutional access strategy for CSL priority assets in public sector institutions to ensure timely access and timely budget allocation.
- Live by a culture of accountability, process-based operation, appropriate documentation & retention practices and data democratization both within the Market Access & Government Sales team and the local affiliate.
- Provide the required support to other teams / functions to strengthen CSL footprint and value proposition.
- Demonstrate and operate with the highest Ethics & Compliance standards across and along the sales process.
- Diligently lead the Government Key Account Manager to ensure both KPIs and the commercial, financial and development goals are met, both individually and for the affiliate.
Your Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- > 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices companies, with experience in public sector healthcare institutions, including but not limited to, IMSS, IMSS Bienestar, ISSSTE, Pemex, Sedena, Semar, CCINSHAE, other descentralized institutions.
- Leadership, negotiation & communication skills, results orientation.
- Dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity, sense of urgency.
Travel Requirements:
- Domestic and International travel may be required from time to time.
