Head of Finance, Finance Business Partner (m/f/x)
Location: Warsaw, Poland | Employment: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity:
As the Head of Finance for Poland, you will lead all financial operations for the Polish affiliate and act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and the Affiliate Leadership Team.
In this role, you will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and financial governance—ensuring full compliance with local regulations and understanding of global standards.
You will be a trusted finance advisor, providing insights into growth strategies, opportunities, and risks, while encouraging relationships across the business. With fiduciary responsibility for accounting, tax, and treasury, you will ensure financial reporting, cash management, and risk mitigation. We are looking for collaboration skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional financial excellence in a matrixed organization.
The Role:
- Provide strategic financial guidance and decision support to the General Manager and Affiliate Leadership Team.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning in collaboration with FP&A.
- Monitor financial performance, ensure accuracy of results, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and track KPIs to support data‑driven decision-making.
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and cross‑functional projects.
- Represent Finance within the affiliate, ensuring alignment with global finance functions
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and reporting requirements.
- Mentor and support local finance team members and oversee remaining in‑country finance activities.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- CA, CPA, MBA or similar post‑qualification.
- 7+ years in finance roles within multinational or commercial operations environments.
- Strong background in FP&A, financial modelling, performance management, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities; ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to link financial outcomes with business strategy.
- Experience working within globally integrated finance processes.
