Join the HCF Claims team at Parramatta and support in the daily operations. Full time, contract role until September.
About the Role
As a Claims Support Officer, you will be responsible for broad range of core operational tasks, including triaging scanned workflow items, actioning Claims Return mail, updating reports, and providing support to the Ancillary, Medical and Hospital Claims teams with processing WIP tasks.
The role also involves supporting the wider HCF Claims Operations team with any ad hoc requirements, as well as actively participating and collaborating in projects as needed.
This is a full time, contract role until September 2026. This role is based at our Parramatta office, working Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available. You are required to work in the office, a minimum of two days a week. Claims Operations team hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
• Managing high volume of scanned items and triage to relevant Claims teams
• Action return mail and update reports
• Support wider Claims team with administration and ad hoc tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of provider and member details and information
• Communicate and liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Insure to comply with business KPIs, policies and procedures.
About You
You will be an organised, self–motivator who thrives working in a busy and dynamic environment. You will have previous experience in an administration role.
To be successful you will have:
• High attention to details and numbers, with ability to cross reference relevant and sensitive information
• Intermediate computer skills with MS Office suite and accurate data entry skills
• Ability to adapt positively to changing work practices and needs
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong ability to communicate to both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with Salesforce is desirable.
