- Make a real impact supporting healthy, thriving communities
- Based across Moodlu Recycled Water Treatment Plant and Morayfield office
- Permanent full-time opportunity
About us:
Unitywater operates in one of Australia’s most exceptional environments in terms of natural beauty, geographical and demographic breadth. We operate on Kabi Kabi, Jinibara and Turrbal Country, proudly providing safe and reliable water to customers in Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa. We are a water utility serving one of the fastest growing regions in the country.
We think a pretty good job starts here.
About the role:
If you enjoy being at the centre of operations and taking pride in keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly, this role has your name on it. As the Wamuran Irrigation Scheme (WIS)Treatment Plant Operator in Charge, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operation of our recycled water treatment plant and associated assets at Moodlu Quarry.
You will balance hands-on plant operation with leadership, coordinating people, processes and technology to deliver safe, reliable recycled water every day. From monitoring treatment performance and analysing samples, to leading your team, troubleshooting issues and working closely with maintenance and network crews, you will have real ownership of the plant and how it performs.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be fine-tuning processes or reviewing data through SCADA, the next you could be supporting improvement projects, managing contractors or being the go-to contact for WISstakeholders. If you like variety, responsibility and the satisfaction of seeing a well-run plant at the end of the day, this is a role where you will truly make an impact.
