Hemophilia & HAE Franchise Lead (m/f/x)
(Fulltime / permanent / Location: Vienna)
The Opportunity
As the Franchise Lead Hemophilia & HAE, you will take national leadership of the Haemophilia, VWD, and HAE portfolio, including full launch ownership, strategic portfolio steering, and internal as well as external stakeholder management. You will play a key role in shaping the commercialization strategy for current and upcoming launches—Hemgenix and Andembry—and ensure the long-term success of our Hem A, Hem B, and VWD portfolio in Austria.
This role is highly strategic and hands-on, requiring strong collaboration across functions, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment. You will also hold sales responsibility for the HAE portfolio and ensure seamless alignment across markets, particularly within the DACH region and with above-market teams.
The Role
- Provide strategic direction for the franchise and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and the DACH cluster.
- Build strong relationships with KOLs, access stakeholders, and hospital decision makers.
- Translate market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear strategic priorities.
- Lead and execute impactful brand and portfolio plans, ensuring compliant and effective customer engagement.
- Track brand performance through defined KPIs and drive proactive course corrections.
- Manage complex national and regional projects independently and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Deliver initiatives on time and on budget, ensuring operational excellence and compliance throughout all activities.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Graduate degree required; PhD preferred, ideally in a life-science field.
- 7+ years of healthcare experience, including at least 5 years in pharma across commercial and medical functions.
- Experience in rare diseases in the Austrian market.
- Proven success in brand launches, portfolio management, and multi-stakeholder project leadership.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in a matrix environment.
- Fluent in German and English.
