Experienced Senior Payroll Officer managing end‑to‑end payroll, compliance, reporting and stakeholder support.
As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of end‑to‑end payroll services. This includes payroll processing, statutory obligations, reporting, reconciliations and responding to payroll enquiries.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure employee data is accurate, payroll transactions are compliant with awards, EBAs and legislation, and payroll issues are resolved efficiently. The role also plays a key part in continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening payroll controls and supporting payroll system administration.
About you
You are an experienced payroll professional with a strong technical background and a high attention to detail. You bring a customer‑focused approach, sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality, tact and professionalism.
You have hands‑on experience using Preceda and are confident managing end‑to‑end payroll, interpreting awards and EBAs, and applying Australian payroll legislation. You are proactive, solutions‑focused and able to prioritise effectively in a deadline‑driven environment, while building strong working relationships with stakeholders.
