About the role:
We’re seeking Project Managers to join our Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) team across both permanent and 12-month contract opportunities.
In this role, you’ll apply your project management expertise, technical knowledge and leadership capability to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across our capital program. Working closely with internal teams and delivery partners, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Unitywater’s strategic objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support collaboration between internal teams and delivery partners
- Coordinate project inputs and shared services through the Program Delivery Office
- Support the successful setup, integration and delivery of projects within Unitywater systems and processes
- Provide technical guidance and asset knowledge to support project teams and partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental and operational requirements
- Enable effective project planning, delivery, commissioning and asset handover
- Monitor project performance across scope, schedule and budget, identifying risks and opportunities
- Champion safe work practices and actively contribute to a strong safety culture
About you:
You’re a collaborative Project Manager who thrives in a complex infrastructure delivery environment with multiple stakeholders. You bring a strong ability to connect people, navigate competing priorities and drive outcomes across diverse teams.
You will also bring:
- Degree qualifications in engineering, environmental science, project management or a related discipline
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment plant projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to coordinate complex projects and manage multiple interfaces and competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with sound decision-making capability
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence
