About the role
As a Senior Technical Advisor – Assets Delivery, you will play a critical role in ensuring capital investment projects are delivered fit for purpose and are fully ready for operation. Acting as the key link between project teams and operational stakeholders, you will be involved from early design through to asset handover, helping to identify risks early, resolve issues, and ensure safety, operability, and maintainability requirements are fully met. This role is based in Canning Vale and supports projects that are essential to the delivery of reliable water services across the region.
Working closely with engineers, project managers, asset managers, and operations teams, you will help ensure new assets are safely integrated into the business with minimal disruption. You will focus on strong stakeholder engagement, accurate documentation, and proactive problem‑solving to ensure assets are handed over smoothly and can be effectively operated and maintained from day one. What you can expect with this role
- Represent asset management and operational teams across the full project lifecycle
- Ensure new assets are delivered fit for purpose, safe, and ready for operation
- Identify and manage project risks, impacts, and handover requirements early
- Support design reviews to ensure assets are operable and maintainable
- Coordinate asset handover documentation and readiness prior to transfer
- Work closely with project, engineering, and operations stakeholders to resolve issues early
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Background in asset management, project delivery, or engineering‑related roles
- Tertiary or trade qualification in an engineering‑related discipline
- Strong understanding of operability, maintainability, and asset lifecycle principles
- Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Solid project management and risk‑assessment skills
- Practical, solutions‑focused approach with a strong commitment to safety
