The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Sr. Director Global Compensation, as the Sr. Manager, Career Architecture Lead, you will be responsible for the governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CSL’s global job architecture framework, job leveling standards, and job catalog. In this role, you will ensure job structures remain consistent, defensible, and aligned to external market benchmarking, enabling fair pay practices, pay transparency readiness, and organizational clarity across the enterprise. By operating as a global standards role, you will partner with HRBPs, Total Rewards partners, and business stakeholders to support job design, re‑org activity, and leveling decisions, while maintaining clear governance and documentation. You will require strong expertise and independent judgment within the defined domain of this role, ensuring that job architecture and leveling practices remain consistent across regions and functions.
This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule.
The Role:
- Organizational Design & Job Architecture: Own and drive the global job architecture framework, ensuring consistency and transparency in job leveling across all businesses. Peers apply frameworks regionally or functionally but do not own global strategy. Oversee job leveling for all businesses globally, maintaining consistency and transparency in job structures.
- Job Catalog Management: Own and manage the global Job Catalog, ensuring it is current, comprehensive, and accurately reflects the work performed across the enterprise. Partner with TR Partners, business leaders, and HRBPs to support organizational design initiatives and ensure job structures reflect evolving business needs.
- Market Alignment & Survey Matching: Oversee processes for market survey matching, ensuring jobs and levels are accurately mapped to external benchmarks. Collaborate with Total Rewards partners to analyze market data and guide compensation decisions. Ensure alignment of the Job Catalog with market survey matches for all functions, enabling competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Governance & Oversight: Establish and maintain governance processes for job architecture, leveling, and catalog management. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to job structures and compensation.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Total Rewards partners, HRBPs, and business leaders to drive alignment and adoption of job architecture frameworks. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on job leveling, market matching, and catalog management.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor trends and best practices in career architecture, organizational design, and compensation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and impact of job architecture processes.
Your Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCP) preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in job architecture, compensation, or organizational design within a medium to large global organization.
- Strong expertise in job evaluation methodologies, market survey matching, and global job leveling.
- Experience managing job catalogs and supporting organizational design initiatives.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.

- Must be a consummate professional and team player who can build strong relationships with the global HR team and other departments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions on a global scale.
