Currently, we have 6-month acting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Finance team as a Property Portfolio - Advisor.
About the role:
This role will conduct, investigate and coordinate delivery of land transaction projects for freehold and reserve tenure landholdings and implement options for the Corporation’s Property Portfolio to ensure it meets strategic, statutory and compliance obligations to deliver on State Government initiatives.

What you can expect with this role
- Assists other team members in the determination of disposal options through investigation and due diligence processes.
- Conducts project assessment and recommends disposal options based on investigations and due diligence checks.
- Analyse proposed property development and subdivision that impact Water Corporation property.
- Provide a high level of communication to remedy encroachments with external customers and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical advice related to the Dividing Fences Act 1961.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the Team Leader, Property Portfolio relating to rationalisation and disposal projects.
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders on priority land disposals and formulate land sale contracts and engage with solicitors to capture terms and conditions for approved disposals.
- Engage and liaise with consultants on matters such as subdivisions and rezoning, solicitors on contract preparation and settlement, surveyors for deposited plan preparations.
- Provide expert land advice to business on strategic or operational implications on land transactions.
Key skills and experience:
- Degree level qualification in property or related discipline.
- Considerable real estate experience in both Crown Land and Freehold Land transactions.
- Recognised industry qualifications in property or related discipline.
- Substantial knowledge in understanding valuations, surveying processes.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and commercial acumen.
- Considerable experience in dealing with conflict resolution.
