Ventia is hiring reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team at Armadale and Byford train stations. These permanent part-time roles offer competitive pay, flexible shift options, and an immediate start.
Position Title: Train Station Cleaner
Start Date: Commencing as soon as possible
Hourly Rate: From $29.73 to $55.58 + Superannuation
Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time (until July 2026, with possible extension)
Locations & Shift Times
Armadale Station
- Weekend Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Night Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Byford Station
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Night Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Clean platforms, restrooms, stairwells, and public areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, and empty bins
- Operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures
- Report maintenance issues and monitor supplies

Requirements
Recent Australian National Police Check (within 3 months)
Physically capable of performing cleaning duties for extended periods
Ability to kneel, lift, and walk up and down stairs
Willingness to undergo a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol testing
