Ventia is looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our specialised team servicing Defence sites.

Position: Specialised Cleaner
Contract: Casual
Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour plus Super
Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Starting Point: HMAS Stirling, Garden Island. This role involves travelling between multiple Defence bases and barracks across the Perth metropolitan area using a company vehicle provided.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Periodic Cleaning: Tasks such as scrubbing surfaces, removing stains and dirt from carpets, cleaning windows, and performing bio-cleaning to meet hygiene standards.
Deep Cleaning: Thorough detailing of tiles and bathrooms, sanitising all surfaces, and addressing hard-to-reach areas for a comprehensive clean.
Experience using scrubbing machines, high-pressure cleaners, carpet cleaners, and window cleaning equipment is an advantage, but training will be provided. Some equipment may be heavy.
What We Need From You
Australian citizenship
Ability to safely perform tasks that involve lifting, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods
Comfortable operating heavy cleaning machinery (training provided)
Willingness to complete a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol screening
Valid full driver’s licence
Cleaning experience
