Ventia is hiring a Project Manager to join our Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract. AGFMA delivers facilities management services to over 5,000 government-owned sites across 48 South Australian government agencies, including schools, hospitals, courts, and police stations.
This permanent full-time role will contribute to infrastructure projects across AGFMA’s broad portfolio, including education, justice, community services and health, with a particular emphasis on supporting health-related projects.
The position will be based across Ventia’s CBD and North Plympton offices, as well as hospital sites within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). It offers a dynamic and hands-on project environment where you’ll be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the project team to deliver key milestones, ensuring asset maintenance meets all project requirements, including sustainability and subcontractor performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing project delivery and escalations effectively.
- Collaborate with Project and Asset teams to provide insightful performance reports.
- Facilitate on-site activities, including kick-off meetings, toolbox talks, and safety sessions, ensuring SHEQ compliance.
- Ensure timely project completion, meeting milestones and KPI reporting frameworks, with occasional intrastate travel as required.
- Apply your project management expertise in diverse environments, with a focus on healthcare settings such as hospital sites, where stakeholder engagement and operational sensitivity are key.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a hospital or healthcare setting, which will be highly regarded.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in project management software.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and deliver accurate project reporting, monitoring, and forecasting.
- Extensive experience overseeing the full lifecycle of facilities maintenance projects, balancing on-site coordination with operational planning.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and foster collaboration to achieve successful project outcomes.
