Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, are seeking experienced Trade Assistants (Tyre Fitter) to join the team in Amberley, Queensland, maintaining and repairing Defence vehicles and plant equipment.

- Monday to Thursday: 7.00 am – 3:45 pm & Friday: 7.00 am – 12:00 pm. Optional early start at 6:30 am available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tyre fitting
- Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
- Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks
- Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner
- Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so
Key Skills & Attributes Include:
- Experience in tyre fitting, with trucks (especially armoured vehicle/ run flat installation) would be an advantage.
- Hold a current open Driver’s License (HR licence ideal)
- Forklift licence and Working At Heights are preferred but not essential.
- Previous Defence experience desirable but not essential.
- You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
