In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking a Hospitality & Catering Supervisor to join our team supporting Defence. This is a hands-on role focused on overseeing front-of-house services, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service to Defence personnel.

About the role
Ventia is seeking a dedicated Hospitality & Catering Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee front-of-house services, including Mess Concierges and Food & Beverage Attendants.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, reconciliations, and stock control.
- Organise and deliver functions and events.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve minor complaints promptly.
- Promote a positive SHEQ culture and complete mandatory safety training.
About you:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (required).
- Hygiene for Food Handlers Certificate (training provided).
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and relevant legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 1+ year experience delivering food and beverage services desirable.
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.
