About the Role
Ventia’s Adelaide Operations Centre (VOC) operates from our Wakefield Street office in the heart of the CBD, just steps from public transport. The VOC provides high-quality customer service via inbound, outbound, and email communication, partnering with a diverse mix of clients across essential public services and frontline sectors to support the communities we serve.
We are seeking a motivated Dispatch & Work Order Integrity Officer to join our team. This hybrid role combines dispatch coordination with work order analysis, ensuring timely resource allocation and continuous improvement in Breakdown Maintenance performance using tools such as SAP, Power BI, and MS Office.
This is a 6 month fixed term role that will see you based in the Wakefield Street office Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and public holiday work available. Working hours range from 6am to 10pm and can be tailored to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and forecast performance for open work orders.
- Analyse root causes of poor PM completion and recommend improvements.
- Manage RM backlog and contribute to monthly resource planning.
- Prepare KPI reports for internal and client submission.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and attend RM tracking meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Ventia SHEQ standards and promote a safety-first culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a similar position, along with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
- You’re confident handling objections, resilient during challenging calls, and quick to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable with technology, you work well across different systems including CRMs, and consistently meet KPIs, productivity goals, and AHT targets.
- You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments and stay focused on continuous improvement and personal growth.
- Experience within Defence or Housing contracts. (Highly regarded)
