About the role:
In this newly created role, you’ll bring together long-term planning, strategic priorities, renewals and regulatory obligations to build and manage our integrated capital program. You’ll collaborate across the Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) business unit, our framework partners and the broader organisation to gather insights, align priorities and shape a well-coordinated schedule and program allocation with evidence-based recommendations. You’ll also play a central part in designing and embedding new systems, processes and ways of working that bring clarity, consistency and strong governance to the capital program.
What you’ll do:
- Consolidate planning, renewals, regulatory needs, and stakeholder inputs into a coherent, sequenced capital program.
- Develop and embed prioritisation frameworks, systems and processes to support evidence-based decision making.
- Continuously assess timing, sequencing and bundling of works to optimise cost, risk and delivery efficiency.
- Maintain visibility of milestones and program health, including multi-scenario portfolio modelling.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to support executive and delegated decision-making.
- Champion quality documentation, auditability and effective communication across the project lifecycle.

- Strong experience in portfolio/program coordination in complex infrastructure environments
- Proven ability to turn stakeholder inputs into clear, realistic schedules and program allocations
- Solid experience in program/portfolio roles, ideally within a water utility or regulated asset environment.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI and ERP/Finance systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Program Management, Business, or similar.
