Primary Responsibilities
- Support implementation, renewal, management, and decommissioning of Enterprise Agreements, maintaining all related documentation and registers.
- Maintain payroll controls, guides, templates, and pay rate matrices to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to annual pay rate updates aligned with the Annual Wage Review and National Minimum Wage changes.
- Support payroll processing, including STP submissions, year-end activities, audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
- Assist with tax and superannuation calculations, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance within ATO deadlines.
- Interpret and apply tax, superannuation, and payroll legislation; maintain related tools, matrices, and calculators.
- Conduct payroll audits, update thresholds and contribution bases, and ensure accurate, timely updates to all rates, benefits, levies, and deductions.
- Validate payroll data and controls to meet regulatory requirements and support SAP payroll configuration audits.
- Contribute to accurate, timely payroll reporting for governance and business needs.
About You
- Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing, SAP systems, and compliance with awards, legislation, and EA requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Proven in improving processes, leading and training offshore teams, and meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and effective under pressure.
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, email, internet).
- Motivated, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement.
