About the role
We are thrilled to be seeking a self-motivated, innovative Aboriginal Community Engagement Senior Advisor to serve as the bridge between our amazing project team and the incredible remote Aboriginal communities we serve. In this role, you will:
- Develop positive, proactive relationships with communities so our project team is fully aware of and aligned with the communities' goals and aspirations
- Excel at stakeholder engagement through clear, effective, and enthusiastic communication
- Advocate passionately on behalf of remote Aboriginal communities
- Link communities to our world-class project team

About you
This exciting position requires extensive travel, with 50% of the job involving immersive trips to remote communities. You'll need a current unrestricted WA driver's license and a thirst for adventure!
We are searching for someone who demonstrates self-motivation and takes initiative. Previous experience working in and engaging with remote Aboriginal communities is a huge plus. Most of all, we want someone who loves people and thrives on making connections.

Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- This position relates to Section 50(d) of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), where Aboriginality is considered a genuine occupational qualification for this position
- Experience in Aboriginal community engagement, stakeholder and issues management
- Considerable experience in developing communication and community engagement material and strategies
- Demonstrated organisational and project management skills
- Capacity to develop relationships with external stakeholders including government agencies, Aboriginal communities to facilitate effective Aboriginal engagement outcomes for the Aboriginal Communities program
- Ability to travel to Corporation regional offices and areas within the State
