Are you passionate about water conservation and sustainability? Are you an experienced professional with experience in relationship management and partnerships? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Coordinator – Water Efficiency Partnerships.
Water Corporation is dedicated to promoting water efficiency and environmental sustainability in the government, commercial, and industrial sectors. As the Water Efficiency Partnership Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in strategic relationships to drive water efficiency and environmental sustainability with peak industry bodies such as Irrigation Australia, Master Plumbers and Gasfitters, the Nursery and Garden Industry, Landscaping Industry and The Water Conservancy.

What you can expect with this role
- Collaborate with and manage key stakeholders, to nurture existing waterwise partnerships and ensure support for water efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor performance of waterwise partners to ensure they are meeting contract obligations.
- Produce and update engagement plans to ensure the best return on investment for the partnerships.
- Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings, including agenda development and minute-taking.
- Handle manufacturer enquiries regarding products becoming Waterwise‑approved and provide information on Smart Drop certification as required
- Manage the Waterwise Specialist Directory, ensuring information published on the Water Corporation website remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist with the delivery of training programs, workshops, and educational materials to promote waterwise practices among different industries which contribute to saving water.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to water conservation and assist with incorporating them into program strategies.
- Provide ad hoc support to address emerging issues, including the coordination of supply items such as catch-cups.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Relevant Tertiary level qualification, or progression towards, in commerce, business, communications or other related disciplines, or substantial experience in a large commercially focussed state-wide organisation providing customer related service.
- Considerable experience in developing and managing relationships with stakeholders and customers, including the ability to negotiate and influence behaviour.
- Strong attention to detail skills and use of initiative to ensure effective support of strategic waterwise objectives.
- Knowledge of water conservation and water use efficiency practices.
- Competent use of Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel, Word and Power Point as well as proven ability to deliver high quality data driven reporting.
- Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high performance culture.
