About the Role
Position: Cleaning Team Leader
Location: Melbourne Youth Justice Centre, Parkville VIC
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday evenings | 8:15 PM – 12:45 AM
Pay Rate: From $34.71 per hour, plus penalty rates and Super
Contract: Permanent Part-Time

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a small cleaning team
Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards across offices, workshops, bathrooms, staircases, and communal areas
Complete dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming duties
Conduct bio-cleaning tasks when required
Liaise professionally with onsite management
What You Will Bring
⦁ Previous cleaning experience and confidence in guiding or others
⦁ A valid Working with Children Card and Police Check
⦁ Ability to perform all cleaning tasks, including kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods
⦁ Ability to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
⦁ Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
⦁ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and teamwork
