Ventia is seeking a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to deliver operational SHEQ duties across our Telecommunications N2P project in Campbell, ACT. This is a hands on role where you’ll be out in the field, working closely with project teams and subcontractors to drive safety and environmental standards.

What you’ll do:
- Lead day-to-day SHEQ activities across the N2P program across the ACT region
- Conduct incident investigations and manage ICAM or similar processes
- Respond to BAU safety and health queries from the project team and subcontractors
- Perform field-based assurance activities, including audits and inspections
- Provide guidance on environmental compliance, including flora and cultural heritage protection
- Deliver subcontractor inductions and drive engagement on safety and environmental standards
- Promote internal safety campaigns and uplift SHEQ awareness across the project team
- Liaise with injured employees, internal stakeholders (Supervisors/Injury Mgt team) and external stakeholders (Treating Practitioners) to facilitate workplace-based injury recovery activities as required
Are you our next SHEQ Advisor?
- Minimum Cert IV in Safety or higher
- Demonstrated experience in Health & Safety
- ICAM training highly regarded, however willing to train
- Environmental experience highly regarded
- Ability to engage with subcontractors and project teams effectively
- Field-focused mindset with strong auditing and assurance skills
- Solid reporting writing skills
