We are currently seeking a part time Seamsperson to join our National Clothes Store Services team at HMAS Cairns. This role plays an important part in ensuring high quality and efficient clothing services for Defence personnel.

- Part-time hours: Monday–Thursday 9:30am–2:30pm, Friday 9:30am–2:00pm

Primary Responsibilities
- Military medal mounting (training provided)
- Sewing name tags and rank slides onto garments
- Performing basic alterations
- Measuring personnel for made to measure uniforms
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tailoring experience is essential
- Previous Defence experience is beneficial but not required
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance, which requires Australian citizenship.
