This role will also be partnering withthebusiness to ensure CSLmanufacturing and projectactivities meethigh standardsfor environmental, health and safety management and to drive continuous improvement.
As part of the EHS team, you will report into the EHS Director at our Broadmeadows site.
Your responsibilities
Provide leadership,knowledgeand support in the diligent discharge of CSL's Work Health & Safety responsibilitiesand actively supportmanagement and employeestocomply withrequirements ofsite procedures andrelevant EHS legislation
Develop and deployallocatedEHSprograms fromthestrategic planand drive a culture of continuous improvement
Lead the improvement ofallocatedEHS systems and processes
Develop EHS specific training packages andfacilitategeneral EHS education andcommunication workshops asrequired
Business Partnerwith CSL departments andfacilitateco-operation between management and employees in developing and carrying out measuresto proactivelyidentifyand manage closure of EHS issues
Facilitateincident investigation analysis and ensureidentification ofappropriatecorrectiveactions
Provide support to other EHS team members asrequired
Bachelor’s Degreepreferablywithin the disciplines ofsafety, engineering orscienceand/orotherrelevanttertiaryqualifications
8+ years in an EHS role preferably in acomplexIndustrial / Manufacturing/ Constructionenvironment
Experience developing and implementingEHS Management systemsand processes including proven ability to deliver practicaltoolsand training
Familiarity with the Regulator (Comcare) and Commonwealth WHS legislation and regulation is desirable
Business partnering experience and the ability to bring a consultative, problem-solving mindset
Ability to workeffectivelyin a team setting and among multiple department functions
Demonstrated ability to organise, prioritise, work underpressureand meet deadlines
Proven experience in your ability toaddress safety and environmental concernsand implement improvements
