What You’ll Be Doing
- As the Site Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind the operation, leading a motivated team and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing store operations, performance, compliance with Defence policy and financial success.
- Leading and mentoring a high performing team to meet contract and service requirements.
- Managing service delivery, solving problems on the spot, and championing continuous improvement.
- Building strong partnerships with Defence personnel, Ventia stakeholders and suppliers.
- Supporting a culture of diversity, inclusion, customer focus and operational excellence.
- Upholding Ventia values and contributing to performance reviews and business improvement initiatives.
About You
- You’re a confident, people focused leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll also bring:
- Australian Citizenship (required for Defence Clearance eligibility)
- Previous experience supervising or leading a team
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate across multiple stakeholders
- A collaborative, solutions focused approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience in logistics or Defence environments (highly regarded)
- Performance management and reporting experience
- Strong written communication and solid IT skills
