Ventia delivers facilities management services, including planned and reactive maintenance, asset repairs and ongoing operational support across the City of Sydney’s diverse portfolio of 251 facilities. These include community centres, libraries, leisure facilities, depots, commercial buildings and landmark sites such as Sydney Town Hall and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team and help maintain these essential community assets.

What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out planned and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Responding to reactive and breakdown maintenance requests as a priority.
- Performing HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical services work, including associated incidental tasks.
- Completing work dockets, asset feedback, inventory updates and maintenance reports accurately.
- Providing recommendations to improve system performance and extend asset life.
About you
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration Mechanics.
- Experience with VRV/VRF systems (highly desirable).
- Strong background in installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems.
- Good understanding of Australian mechanical services standards.
Current Driver’s Licence and White Card.
Willingness to undergo a police check.
