The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer focused professional to join our team in a permanent, full-time position based at Williamtown RAAF Base. In this position, you will provide exceptional customer service alongside essential tailoring services (training provided), directly supporting Defence personnel in their daily operational duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service, assisting with uniform outfitting and kitting
- Maintain accurate work order and inventory records
- Support clothing store operations and ensure stock accuracy
- Conduct professional tailoring measurements and fittings
- Perform seamstress/seamsperson tasks, including sewing rank badges, medals, and insignia
- Complete basic clothing alterations such as hemming
- Manage workload scheduling and meet production deadlines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory requirement)
- A strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills
- Experience in clothing measurement and fitting
- Experience in garment alterations
- Knowledge of clothing store operations and inventory management
- Proven ability to schedule tasks and meet deadlines
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications for record keeping
