About the Role
As a Technician you will play a key role delivering mechanical, electrical, ITS and HVAC maintenance across the Transurban motorways and tunnels network. Working alongside a skilled and supportive team, you’ll ensure all maintenance works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will contribute to planned and reactive maintenance, support incident response activities, optimise asset performance, and build strong working relationships with our client, Transurban, and key stakeholders.
What you will be doing
- Deliver M&E, ITS and HVAC maintenance across road and tunnels assets
- Conduct routine, periodic and reactive maintenance in alignment with safety and quality standards
- Carry out inspections, Maximo data entry and ensure accurate work order lifecycle management
- Support project works and additional maintenance as required
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, including reporting hazards, near misses, and contributing to investigations
- Promote continuous improvements and help drive efficiency
- Foster strong working relationships with Transurban and other key stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
To be successful you will have experience in a maintenance, industrial or mining environment.
- Trade qualified – QLD electrical licence including CPR LVR
- Construction white card
- Current drivers licence (MR preferred)
- Experience in maintenance, testing and quality monitoring
- Understanding of Asset Management and lifecycle modelling
- Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and high-quality work
- Capability to work across a 24/ network with day and night shifts on 5-week roster
