About the role
Ventia is the largest provider of Defence estate support services and facilities management across Australia. We have over 20 years’ experience delivering base support capability from hospitality to rescue services to warehousing.
Our base in Cerberus VIC (Mornington Peninsula) now has an opportunity for a Front of House Supervisor, to assist in the smooth day to day running and cost-effective operation of the Mess, whilst delivering an outstanding customer service and food safety standard.
We have 2 full time permanent positions available paying an hourly base rate of 30.33 per hour and the hours of work are on rotating roster between 5am and 8pm (7.6 hour days) including 2 weekends a month.
What you'll be doing
- Support the Hospitality and Catering team by consistently delivering a friendly, helpful and professional service to all customers.
- Preventive management of food safety hazards through the systematic application of HACCP controls.
- Drive performance and food safety compliance

- Assist with rostering, ensuring you are acknowledging and tailoring staff requirements
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role or hold transferrable a skill set
- Outstanding customer service skills - you genuinely love people!
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work collaboratively with our employees and client
- Must Be an Australian Citizen and able to complete an Australian Federal Police Check
