About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Administrator to join our team and provide essential financial and administrative support across our contract. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is confident managing deadlines across multiple processes.
This role is a permanent full‑time appointment located at our Dandenong South depot. Flexible work options are available; however, a minimum on‑site presence of three days per week is required.
The Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting payroll, purchasing, billing, month end, and general finance administration activities. The role ensures accurate data entry, timely processing, and effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Other Responsibilities
- Provide general financial and administrative support, ensuring accurate records and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Coordinate timesheet and payroll processes, resolving issues and supporting onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Manage purchasing activities including raising and receipting purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers to support timely invoice processing.
- Assist with cost control, work order maintenance, and accurate coding across the contract.
- Support month‑end activities including accruals, reporting, and contract billing.

Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, administration, payroll, or similar roles
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint)
- Accounting and finance administration knowledge
- Experience in time entry/payroll, purchasing, costing, billing, and month‑end processes
- Familiarity with SAP and Ariba (or ability to learn quickly)
