About the Contract
Ventia was awarded the contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance, along with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation services across the Seqwater network of 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.
Fully mobilised in February 2025, our 135 strong team continue to deliver service excellence across the entire Seqwater network. The network expands as far as Gympie in the north, to the NSW border in the south, and from North Stradbroke Island in the east, to the base of the Toowoomba Ranges in the west.

About the Role
Step into a role where your engineering mastery truly shapes the future of water infrastructure. Reporting to our Contract Director, you’ll work alongside passionate engineers, planners and operations specialists to deliver maintenance improvements, asset condition insights and practical solutions.
Your technical depth, curiosity and forward‑thinking recommendations will elevate our maintenance practices and directly influence long‑term asset lifecycle decisions. This is a chance to lead, innovate and leave your mark on essential community infrastructure.
About You
- Strong ability to collaborate, negotiate, and influence across diverse stakeholders.
- Must have a degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated senior‑level experience across asset maintenance engineering, including optimisation of maintenance strategies, reliability improvement, and lifecycle planning.
- Knowledge of change management and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience within water infrastructure or similar industries (i.e: Oil and Gas – Rigs and Wells)
