About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for Indigenous Australians as a Storeperson to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at the RAAF Base Amberley. This is an opportunity to join Ventia in a role that provides a corridor for a great lifestyle outside of work!
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of logistics, managing the storage and distribution of essential items across armouries, health centres, and general stores. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence Force personnel have what they need, when they need it.
What’s On Offer
- $32.72 per hour + Super
- Finish at 12 pm on Fridays!
- Work in the local region – eliminate the long commutes
- Full-time role working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Work with unique Defence vehicle and assets
- Training & Upskilling provided
- On-site Parking
About you
- Indentify as an Indigenous Australian
- Demonstrated experience stores accounting or commercial equivalent
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Forklift license desirable
- Driver’s License essential
- Good communication, problem solving, writing and analysis skills
- Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft and Defence systems desirable
- Relevant professional qualifications are desirable
- You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
