About the Role
Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force, are seeking an experienced Gym Attendant/ Lifeguard, to support the operation of our Gym & aquatic facilities.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform rescues when required.
- Open and close facilities in line with scheduled times.
- Monitor Gym attendees and issue sporting equipment for use
- Assist military physical training instructors with setting up prior to and after PT sessions
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed, and equipment is used correctly.
About You
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Level 1 First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Current Australian drivers licence
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement, you must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check
