The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role based in Singleton, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional, responsive, and efficient customer support within the Defence Clothing System (DCS) network. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll take ownership of data management, expertly resolve customer enquiries, and ensure everything aligns seamlessly with Defence policies and contractual standards.
As part of a nationally connected service team, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence, overseeing accurate inventory management, navigating online systems, and coordinating tailored, made-to-measure solutions. Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll build strong relationships with Defence personnel, proactively enhancing service delivery and contributing directly to overall Defence capability.

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive customer support for online orders, enquiries, and ticket resolution
- Maintain and manage data across Ventia and Defence systems, including inventory, procurement, ordering, and distribution
- Administer user access, including account creation and password resets
- Review and validate orders, resolving issues or escalating where required
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and updates
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, escalating as appropriate
- Manage, track, and escalate service tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Provide nationwide support for vehicle and equipment recovery and relocation
- Analyse feedback to identify opportunities for continuous service improvement
- Monitor support centre performance and report on key metrics and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Defence requirements
About You
- Eligible to obtain and maintain the required Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or Positive Vetting, as applicable)
- Relevant administrative qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Background in customer service, online support, or similar environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with well-developed problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with SAP is desirable
