About the Role
Ventia is hiring a Project Coordinator to join its Energy Networks & Renewables – Gas contract. This permanent, full time role is based out of Ventia’s Cavan office and plays a key part in the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of construction and maintenance works across regulated energy infrastructure.
Working closely with Project Managers, field crews and contractors, you will coordinate resources, monitor delivery performance and support project outcomes in line with budget, schedule and safety requirements. This is a hands on coordination role suited to someone who is organised, detail focused and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a highly regulated, field based environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling of crews, including coordination of site resources, contractors and permits to support work order delivery.
- Support safe, compliant project delivery in line with Ventia and client Risk, HSEQ and quality systems.
- Monitor contractor performance, productivity, costs and schedules to ensure delivery within budget.
- Track project progress, provide administrative support, prepare performance reports and support variation requests
- Maintain effective working relationships with field teams, subcontractors, councils and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues, complaints or risks, escalating when required.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in coordination, administration or project support roles within construction, utilities or regulated infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting, and experience with basic financial systems such as accounts payable/receivable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines across field based and office activities.
- A safety-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and compliance requirements.
