Ventia is looking for a hands on Workshop Labourer to join our Withcott workshop, supporting the Rig and Well Services contract as well as the broader Ventia business. This role is a vital part of the workshop team, providing practical, day to day support to trades and helping keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.
The Role
You’ll be working alongside experienced trades, providing support across a range of workshop activities including:
- New builds
- Rebuilds and refurbishments
- General 10 yearly maintenance works
- This is a physical, varied role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools, staying busy, and backing up the trades when it counts.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing daily workshop support to boilermakers, mechanics and fitters
- Assisting with assembly and build activities
- General labouring and material handling
- Operating forklifts and lifting equipment where required
- Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards across the workshop
- Supporting overall workshop operations to meet project timelines
What You’ll Need
- HR Driver’s Licence
- Assembly experience in a workshop or industrial environment
- Forklift (FL) licence
- Non slewing crane ticket (highly regarded)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to help across different tasks
- A safety focused mindset
Hours & Overtime
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime available depending on workload and project demands
