School Cleaning Supervisor

Ventia is seeking a capable and motivated School Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily operations at Bay View State School.
This role offers leadership responsibility, stable weekday hours, and long‑term career potential within the education sector.
Role Snapshot
Pay rate: $35.15 per hour + super + allowances
Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Bay View State School, Thornlands
Employment type: Casual
Strong performers may be considered for permanent employment with the Department of Education.
Start date: ASAP
Your Day‑to‑Day
Lead and support a team of on‑site cleaners
Allocate work and ensure cleaning standards are met
Maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming school environment
Conduct site inspections and manage quality control
Train, mentor and support team members
Assist with hands‑on cleaning
Report issues and manage cleaning stock and supplies

What We Are Looking For
Previous experience supervising or leading a team (preferred)
Strong communication and leadership skills
A practical, hands‑on approach and strong work ethic
Computer literacy
Ability to perform physical tasks
Valid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
Recent National Police Check
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
