Project Lead– Telecommunications
Location: Canning Vale, WA
We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Lead to join the Telecommunications team, supporting delivery across the Telstra Telepower portfolio in Western Australia.
This role is responsible for leading day to day project delivery across multiple scopes of work, with a strong focus on safety, cost control, productivity and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in improving how we deliver work, aligning teams to new ways of working and driving consistent commercial outcomes.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading delivery across SITE scopes of work within WA
- Managing direct labour and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, time and cost outcomes
- Promoting and role modelling a strong safety and health culture across all sites
- Implementing new operational ways of working aligned to the Telstra SFMDCC agreement
- Monitoring volumes, productivity and performance against project KPIs and SLAs
- Managing project reporting, variations and records to support sound decision making
- Building effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Identifying and implementing improvements to delivery efficiency and quality
What you’ll bring
- At least five years’ experience in a similar project delivery or leadership role
- Background in telecommunications, electrical, construction or technical services
- Qualifications in Project Management and or Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of safety, compliance and quality requirements in a field environment
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
- Sound commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost and production outcomes
- Willingness to travel as required to support delivery
