About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Principal - Asset Management to provide technical expertise across Water Corporation, ensuring optimised asset management outcomes. This role leads asset management improvement initiatives that drive change and increase maturity across the asset management system. This role will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Head of Asset Strategy.
What the role will involve
- Deliver priority asset management projects, taking into consideration stakeholder needs and business objectives, and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
- Identify asset management improvement initiatives and define roadmaps to uplift capabilities
- Provide advice and support to various teams involved in asset management to ensure best practice is applied
- Establish and integrate new ways of working/approaches into existing business processes and strategies
- Lead interactions with senior management to identify stakeholder needs, influence direction and priorities for asset management initiatives
About you
You’ll hold a degree level qualification in engineering, asset management, or relevant discipline, along with extensive experience in strategic asset management within an infrastructure intensive organisation, driving asset management improvement initiatives. Your demonstrated leadership, and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
