The Role
As a Camp Attendant, you will provide daily cleaning and housekeeping services across accommodation facilities, while supporting the broader site team as required. You will contribute to maintaining high standards and creating a positive camp environment aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and high-quality cleaning services to accommodation rooms and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards across the site
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and in accordance with procedures
- Support camp operations, including assisting guests and conducting inductions when required
- Maintain effective communication with team members and site stakeholders
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and site briefings
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality and environmental standards
- Manage cleaning consumables and equipment efficiently
- Build positive relationships with residents, guests and clients
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably directed to support camp operations
About You
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, ideally within accommodation or camp environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to work day or night shifts in a remote camp environment
- Valid manual driver’s licence
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
