Ventia is recruiting a Facility and Assets Coordinator to help deliver essential maintenance and asset services across South Australia’s Health portfolio as part of the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA).
AGFMA supports more than 5,000 government owned sites across 48 South Australian agencies, including major health facilities, community health sites, emergency services locations, education facilities and public infrastructure. These assets play a critical role in ensuring essential services remain accessible to the community every day.
About the Role
In this permanent full-time role, you will provide on-site coordination of maintenance and asset activities at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) in Woodville South, SA 5011. You will oversee the planning and coordination of maintenance services, ensuring assets are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with required standards.
You will work closely with trades, subcontractors, SA Health representatives, and internal Ventia teams to support day-to-day maintenance delivery, operational functions, accurate asset documentation, and the timely completion of works to required quality, safety, and compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site-based maintenance and trade services, ensuring works are completed by qualified trades to required standards and timeframes.
- Coordinate day to day operational activities to support asset reliability, safe site function and maintenance planning, including contributing to corrective actions.
- Maintain strong communication with SA Health clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, providing timely solutions to issues and escalations.
- Keep accurate documentation updated in Ventia systems, including records, photos and required maintenance information.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all work aligns with Ventia’s SHEQ processes and expectations.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant trade qualification (highly regarded).
- Experience supervising or coordinating trade services, ideally within a hospital or health setting.
- Strong understanding of standards, compliance requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate records in computerised maintenance systems.
- Strong communication, teamwork and client engagement skills.
- Effective planning, problem solving and ability to work under broad direction.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain as part of the pre-employment checks).
