About the role
We’re looking for an experienced marketing leader to take ownership of delivering impactful, customer-focused marketing across the full spectrum – from large-scale campaigns through to highly targeted, data-led communications such as EDMs.
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic thinking with execution, leading a small team while working closely with stakeholders across the business to plan, deliver and optimise marketing activity that drives engagement and measurable outcomes. What this role involves
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end marketing delivery, ensuring activity is aligned to business priorities and customer needs.
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Oversee targeted communications including email marketing (EDMs)
- Translate business objectives and complex information into clear, compelling customer messaging
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define campaign objectives, audiences and success measures
- Use data, insights and performance reporting to optimise marketing effectiveness and inform future activity
- Manage external agencies and suppliers to deliver creative and media outcomes, while representing marketing in cross-functional projects and stakeholder forums.
Key skills and experience
- Proven experience delivering a range of marketing activity – from large integrated campaigns to targeted, data-driven communications
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including digital, content and customer communications.
- Experience using insights, analytics and reporting to measure performance and guide decisions
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-centric messaging
- Experience managing stakeholders across different levels and functions, with confidence working with external agencies and partners.
- Experience leading, mentoring or coaching marketing or communications professionals
