School Cleaner – Peregian Springs State School
Monday to Friday | 5:00–8:00am and/or 2:00–6:00pm | No weekends
Children are brilliant.
They're also responsible for approximately 97% of the world's glitter, fingerprints and mysterious floor debris.
We're looking for cleaners to help restore order each day and keep Peregian Springs State School looking its best.
Early morning and afternoon shifts available. No weekends. No glitter immunity required.
Role Details
Position: School Cleaner
Location: Peregian Springs State School, QLD
Hours (flexibility required):
Monday to Friday 5:00–8:00 AM
Monday to Friday 2:00–6:00 PM
You will need to be available across both shifts when required
Pay: From $32.31 per hour + penalties and super
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Casual
Do a solid job and there is a strong chance of permanent employment with the Department of Education
What you will do
Reset classrooms so they are ready for the next day
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Clean bathrooms and restock supplies
Wipe desks and high-touch areas
Follow hygiene and safety procedures
What you need
Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Blue Card and recent Police Check
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport required
Ability to complete physical tasks
Pass medical and drug and alcohol screening
