Ventia is currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified tradespeople for casual employment opportunities at Yallourn Power Station.
The Opportunity:
Based at Yallourn Power Station, you will join our casual workforce pool, supporting planned maintenance and outage activities.
We are seeking candidates with a background in heavy industry or power generation who are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency and reliability across the following roles:
- Electricians
- Pressure Welders
- Boilermakers
- Fitters
- Riggers
- Scaffolders
About You
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in maintenance and outage work within heavy industry or similar environments
- A proactive and safety-focused approach to all tasks
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to meet deadlines and project requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- A positive attitude and commitment to contributing to team success

- High Risk Work Licence
- Confined Space Certificate (valid within a three year period)
