About the role:
We’re looking for a skilled and curious Senior Analyst – Data & Analytics to join the Strategy and Transformation group.
This is a data-led role at the centre of enterprise decision-making, combining strong analytical capability with strategic thinking and business insight. You’ll transform complex, multi-source data into clear, compelling insights that help leaders understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed strategic decisions.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas, you’ll develop executive-ready dashboards, reports, and insight packs that bring clarity to complex information and support delivery of the Corporate Plan.

What the role will involve:
In this role, you will:
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions and prioritisation
- Work with stakeholders to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key drivers
- Develop clear, compelling narratives and executive-ready outputs (reports, briefings, dashboards) that connect data to business outcomes and strategic priorities
- Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and visualisations (e.g. Power BI) to support self-service insights
- Gather, cleanse, and integrate data from multiple sources to create a single, trusted view of performance
- Work with large, multi-source datasets using appropriate tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, data platforms)
- Monitor and track performance across the Corporate Plan and transformation initiatives
- Champion best practice in data capture, analytics, and insight delivery
- Ensure data is structured, accurate and reliable, and identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting, and organisational data literacy
This role exists to bring greater clarity, consistency, and insight to how we track and manage performance across the Corporate Plan.
Key skills and experience:
You are an analytical thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.
You’ll bring:
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline (Business, Science, Engineering or similar)
- Substantial experience in data analysis, insight generation, and performance reporting
- Substantial experience translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making
- Experience developing dashboards and visualisations (e.g. Power BI) to support decision-making
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate business questions into analytical outputs
- Solid understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) design, performance measurement and strategic reporting
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A proactive, flexible approach to problem solving with a continuous improvement mindset
- The ability to produce clear, concise, and executive-ready outputs
Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) data models will be advantageous.
