About the Role
Due to growth within our contracts, we are excited to bring on an experienced Project Officer who will be required to be responsible for providing integrated administrative and coordination support to our Telecommunications Defence contracts.
The role ensures effective project governance, documentation control, and delivery tracking while supporting the Project Manager in driving project outcomes across complex defence and telecommunications infrastructure environments.
Other Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Plan, schedule, and track project deliverables, milestones, and progress against scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery
- Manage project controls including actions, risks, issues, changes, and lessons‑learned registers
- Maintain project documentation, governance compliance, meeting agendas, minutes, action logs, dashboards, and reports
- Support financial processes including purchase orders, invoicing, cost tracking, budget monitoring, and forecasting
- Assist with technical documentation such as SIPs, ITPs, as‑builts, and other project deliverables
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have experience in a similar role supporting projects, construction and or telecommunications with defence sector experience also desirable.
You will also possess:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management tools and document control systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2) and Exposure to financial tracking and cost control processes would be advantageous
