About the Project
Ventia was awarded the contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance, along with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation services across the Seqwater network of 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.
Fully mobilised in February 2025, our 125 strong team continue to deliver service excellence across the entire Seqwater network. The network expands as far as Gympie in the north, to the NSW border in the south, and from North Stradbroke Island in the east, to the base of the Toowoomba Ranges in the west.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our financial and payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and process timesheet data in SAP monitoring and reporting digital timesheet data and supporting users with the application, inclusive of equipment and temporary labour hours and some paper-based systems.
- Coordinate timesheets to meet weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll deadlines
- Partner with teams to monitor, report, and resolve timesheet data, including labour and equipment hours
- Supporting the contract with HR requirements such as new starts, resignations and exit forms
- Proactively identify and resolve timesheet discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Review and action key reports, including open POs, GR/IR, and vendor invoice matching (VIM)
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing in line with payment terms
About you
You’re someone who brings energy with a solutions-orientated mindset. You enjoy collaborating, building relationships, and be the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Basic accounting knowledge incl: timesheet management (payroll), purchasing, costing, billing, month end closing and operational administration
- Basic knowledge in SAP and Ariba or similar databases
- Experience in understanding of EBA arrangements, is advantageous
